This Privacy Policy describes how the Image Magic Android app collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
All image processing in Image Magic - including background removal, face detection, passport photo generation, self-attestation, and QR scanning - is performed entirely on your device using on-device AI (Google ML Kit). Your photos and documents are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party server.
Used to capture photos directly in the app and to scan QR codes. Accessed only when you actively choose these features.
Used to let you select images from your gallery as input, and to save processed results back to your gallery. We do not read or transmit any photos beyond what you explicitly select.
Used to provide a short haptic feedback when a QR code is successfully scanned. No data is collected through this permission.
Used to send anonymous crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics), usage analytics (via Google Analytics), app performance metrics (via Firebase Performance), and to fetch and display ads from Google AdMob.
We use Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to automatically collect crash reports when the app unexpectedly closes. This helps us identify and fix bugs.
What Crashlytics collects:
What Crashlytics does NOT collect: your photos, documents, QR scan results, or any content you create inside the app.
Crash data is processed by Google under their Privacy Policy. Crash reporting is disabled in debug builds.
We use Google Analytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage statistics and measure app response times. This helps us optimize our features and understand which tools are used most frequently.
What we collect:
This data is anonymous, does not contain your photos or personal data, and is used solely to improve app stability and speed.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app to support ongoing development. AdMob may collect and use device data (such as the Google Advertising ID) to customize the ads shown to you.
For users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and California, the app provides a standard Google Consent Form to let you choose whether you want to consent to personalized advertisements or opt out.

The app does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing stored on our end to delete. Crash reports collected by Firebase Crashlytics are automatically deleted by Google after 90 days. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored files from your device.
Image Magic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app and information was collected, contact us and we will address it immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
